Hotel Ezra Cornell (HEC) is a three-day, student-run business conference for hospitality industry leaders and members of the Cornell community from across the globe. A 98-year tradition of the School of the Hotel Administration, HEC is one of the oldest organizations at Cornell and an unparalleled introduction to the students, faculty, and alumni of the preeminent hospitality program in the nation.
This year's theme, "Envisioning a Sustainable and Equitable Future Through Global Hospitality," helps us understand the importance of the community and strengths that lie in learning from one another. Sustainability is an important idea to recognize not only on a local level but also on a global level. This is what makes this year's HEC conference more special.
HEC is working with Bears with Humanity to sell teddy bears in support of the Family and Children's Service of Ithaca Inc. Every bear you buy, another bear will be sent to a child in Ithaca and it is highly important to our conference!
